Hi, I'm Daniel

I'm a second-year Computer Engineering student at Concordia University, building AI systems that prioritize privacy and local control. My projects blend research depth — CNNs, signal processing, probabilistic models — with operational reality: 24/7 services, performance optimization, and real-world deployment.

Before engineering, I spent five years tutoring recent immigrants in math and sciences, work that taught me how to explain complex ideas clearly. That skill shows up in my documentation, case studies, and code comments.

I'm fluent in four languages (French, English, Romanian, Russian) and comfortable in Spanish. Montreal's multilingual energy is where I thrive — whether debugging Python, reading Kahneman's Thinking, Fast and Slow, or hiking Mount Royal with friends.
